A Local Perspective

Monday night we stayed with Vinayak, the brother of Geeti, my friend from the Let's Talk About Books group. It was nice to have tea and a meal prepared at home by his trusty staff. 

He also took us to see Qutb Minar at night - including beers and snacks at Dramz, on their terrace overlooking the Minnar. 

While I thought Geeti had been joking, I think if we had more time Vinayak would've taken us to feed elephants in the middle of the night!

Vinayak was most kind to open his home to us, especially considering he is in the process of renovating. We know we have a place to stay if we are ever back in Delhi again.
